If you are looking for a relatively easy to use, budget telescope, this does the job nicely. Is it perfect? No. If you are an amateur astronomer, this probably isn't for you. If you are a parent/grandparent looking for a gift for an inquisitive child, this is fantastic. I was impressed with how clear the images were. The spotting scope actually is usable making finding images in the objectives much easier. The tripod is quite stable, which is a huge plus. Unfortunately, its also tiny. You'll either need to put it on a table or lay in the grass. I used an old camera tripod and it worked out pretty well, but it wasn't as maneuverable and stable as the included tripod.Using this telescope with a phone and the included holder is a little tricky. The eye piece holder is not set firmly in place, so the weight of a phone tends to move it quite a bit. This results in the image being pulled out of the frame. Great little telescope for checking out the moon, haven't really tried doing anything else with it though. Bought mine last August and have had lots of fun with it since then. I use my iPhone to take pictures through the lense and have gotten some great shots.

Yesterday I successfully found Saturn's position through the star! The process was difficult: I drived 5 kilometers to the outskirts, We took 1 hour to find Saturn's position accurately because the wind was too strong and there were some clouds sometimes. Anyway, me and my son, we were very satisfied with this experience and of course this telescope and the seller, Highly recommend!

* This is a basic level telescope for everyone. * Assembly is very simple and takes 5-8 miss to get it setup. Steps come in manual. * Telescope is lightweight but has a sturdy build so will handle minor drops or wear & tear. * Tripod is not extendable so if you wanna use another tripod you can use that. * Setting up focus may take some time that depends upon how far and what angle you are trying to set. * Comes with 2 extra scopes/lenses and phone mount but I have not tried them yet.

I don't know why people are expecting the results of the Hubble Telescope in the reviews. It does exactly what it's designed to do. It takes the moon and makes it look like a large marble that's placed a few inches from your eye that's in pretty good focus. You can see some craters on the Moon, but you can't see Niel Armstrong's footprints. You can see the rings of Saturn, but you can't count them like a tree that's been cut in half. I'm not sure why some individuals have ridiculous expectations for something that's less than $100. There are better scopes out there, sure, but it's a great beginner scope for kids and amateurs. I got this for my 7 year old who has shown interest in the Cosmos. If he really gets into it, I'll invest more later and pass this to his younger siblings. For right now, it's perfect. My daughter is always asking questions about space, or asking me to YouTube stuff about it. It was fun to take the time and actually show her with this telescope. I didn’t have any difficulties with the assembly. Everything was packed securely. A decent telescope for beginners looking to check out the moon. The stand will need to be set on a table or something sturdy off the ground unless you provide your own full size stand, which I’d recommend. I didn’t really mess with the phone holder and Bluetooth shutter yet button but I plan to since the weather is getting nicer out. Comes with a few different viewing lens configurations including a moon filter for the eye piece.

I love this telescope. It’s so easy to use and clear when you look through it. You do need to move the dial on the top till it comes through clear. My son is really into space. With the phone attachment he can take pictures and videos when he sees something he likes
For the price this is a steal! Got this telescope for my grandfather for his birthday. He is outside a lot on the patio at night and always watches the stars so I figured it was time to give him, what he never knew, he always wanted. A great beginner scope! After focusing the scope properly and taking a glance at the moon it almost feels like you could reach out and grab it. Wonderful!
